HOW CAN I VIEW THE PAINTING?

Once you have submitted your enquiry to The Indigenous Art Book, a representative will liaise with you about the most suitable way to view the painting. We will introduce you to the collector, and if you are local to the physical location of the painting, you can make an appointment to view the painting at its location. You are also welcome to appoint someone who is local to the physical location of the painting to view it on your behalf.

HOW IS MY PAINTING PACKED AND SHIPPED?

Your painting is rolled into a postal tube for safe transit anywhere in the world. All relevant provenance for your painting (including Certificates of Authenticity and working photos [if available]), will be included with the painting. A photograph of the contents of the postal tube will be emailed to you prior to it being packed for transit so you know what to expect when it arrives. Each delivery will be facilitated through our reputable freight partners – Pack and Send – and each delivery will be insured and tracked.

HOW CAN I BE CERTAIN THAT MY PAINTING IS AN AUTHENTIC PIECE OF ABORIGINAL ART?

The authenticity and provenance of each painting featured on The Indigenous Art Book has been clearly ascertained. In the majority of cases, the provenance includes the originating Certificates of Authenticity (from where the painting was first acquired), and/or a Certificate of Authenticity from the owner of the painting (in the case of commissions or the owner having acquired the painting directly from the artist and not a gallery/art centre). In all cases, the authenticity and ethics of the individual collectors has been clearly determined, and their identity and acquisition ethics verified. In the case of the collector having acquired the work directly from the artist, the circumstances of the acquisition are included in the Certificate of Authenticity from The Indigenous Art Book that also accompanies each work.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS/REFUNDS POLICY?

The Indigenous Art Book does not offer returns or refunds. We encourage you to view the painting either in realtime or through a virtual viewing, where any blemishes and/or faults can be clearly identified and noted prior to purchase. We strongly encourage you to select carefully and ask any questions at all about the work.

DO YOU INCLUDE A VALUATION CERTIFICATE?

The Indigenous Art Book is not a certified or registered art valuer, so we are unable to offer that service. For valuation purposes, we provide a tax invoice for the purchase price, and your painting can be independently valued at your convenience.
